We all use AI and tools powered by AI on a daily basis, and the sceptics have already had to admit that ‘the bubble wasn’t a bubble’ – and we’re going to live with it, whether we like it or not.
As a tech company serving the shopping centre industry for 25 years, Placewise has embraced AI both for internal use, and in the client facing parts of the platform for quite some time already.
I’ve personally been a part of the shopping centre industry for the last two decades, first as a shopping centre manager and then in Placewise. The shift happening now is without comparison.
Our CTO, Wojciech Czech, has a PhD in Machine Learning (ML), and we have highly ML/AI-skilled colleagues in the tech department. In other words; there is definitely more to come from our end.
My question goes out to all the Shopping Centre people in here;
How will AI take it’s role in the shopping centre manager’s offices of tomorrow? Or even more precisely: What do you hope to be able to do with [more] intelligent tools tomorrow that you cannot [or manually have to] do today?
I would really appreciate sincere input from the industry – and I’d love to bring your pain points, unmet ambitions and potential solutions to our eager, skilled and client focused tech team.
